How to Optimize Your Instagram Bio

Your Instagram bio is front row, center for profile visitors. It is your chance to capture the attention of users who are unfamiliar with your brand, highlight news, and drive traffic to your website.

Keep this in mind as you set up or update your Instagram profile. Here are our tips for the most effective bio!

Choose a Profile Picture

Choose a profile picture that clearly identifies your brand, like a business logo.

Provide a Brief Description

Include a Call-To-Action (CTA)

Use words like “click here to visit our website” or “contact us here to learn more.”

The only place where you can put a clickable link on Instagram is in your profile below your bio description.

If you’re going to see any success with Instagram, it’s important to use this link effectively. The good news is that you can change this URL as often as you like. Send users to your website, YouTube page, or anywhere else.
